PostSubject: A train ride to Grandma's house[OPEN]   Thu Nov 13, 2014 11:19 am

I had a ticket in hand and I had a bag with some food packed. I had off work today so I thought I'd take a visit to Phoenix's Residential District, where my Grandma lived. Once I had boarded the train and got my ticket punched I took a seat. This trip was going to take awhile. I take out a sandwich. It was around lunch-time and this ride was going to take a couple of hours. I then bite into it. "I need to find ways to kill some time, or this train ride is going to be such a bore!" I thought to myself.

Marik looked around the train as he took his seat as he was on his way to see the devices humans were using to make their city greater. His tall frame had his head towering over the head rest and while uncomfortable gave him an excellent view of everything. Wondering about a few of the build ideas of the trains electrical system he switched his lenses to X-ray allowing him a fine view through the interior walls of the train following the wire paths. Upon hearing a voice of someone becoming rapidly bored I switched off the lenses to find who it was and see directly across the aisle "Bored already? One would think that if you were to talk a long ride in a confined space you would at least take a book to read. Would you like to borrow one of mine or maybe a delightful conversation could liven things up for you."

"Hm?" I notice someone talking right across from me. I look up to see a man with a tall frame. I swallow the bite I had taken of my sandwich. "Oh, um...I suppose a conversation would help kill the time..." I glance around as I take another bite of my sandwich. I then swallow that bite. "Name's Tom Bluemann. What's yours?"

"My name is Marik my good man" he says as he sweeps the hat off his head and holds it momentarily to his chest as he greets Tom then returning it swiftly to it's place "What would you like to discuss as we traverse to our destinations." Craning his neck downward to get a better look at him.

"Hm..." I think to myself as I take another bite. I swallow. "So, where you headed?"
