Shadow nodded before turning to the dragon animalian. He then drew his two swords and held them in reverse grip in a battle ready stance. "I am Shadow... And I'll let you make the first move."

Ragecano gripped the handle of his sword tightly, thinking of a strategy. "It's really not my style to do things first, seeing as to how I have to think hard about some things..."

Hm, so he's the 'wait-and-see' type, Shadow thought. "Very well then..." Shadow calmly said as he dashed at normal speeds at his opponent, making a wide horizontal swing with his right arm at the foe's chest area.

Ragecano sighed and watched as the man dashed towards him. At that moment, he knew what he was going to do. The Animalian created a booming sound as he stepped forward, the power of Sonido increasing his movement speed, but not before taking out his sword and aiming a calculated slash at the left side of the man's abdomen, opposite of the side which had the arm holding the sword out.

As Shadow charged, in his vision everything around the dragon animalian turned pitch black; he tapped into Serene Mind. With his mind clear and calm like water, Shadow could see and feel his opponent move at very high speeds to attack his left abdomen with his katana. Using his agility, Shadow used his left sword to block the incoming strike while continuing to slash with his right arm.

"A speed character, I see..." Shadow quietly muttered.

As Ragecano went down, a figure decided his best course of action. The figure took one step, propelling him to the rooftop that the three figures were on. He was wearing a black robe with hues of white upon the collar; his name was Nikolai. He had been watching what happened the entire time from another high place, making sure not to reveal himself until necessary. The man kept one hand on his sword, the other latched to his waist. "Anybody care to explain what the hell is happening?" An arbitrary question; he knew full well what had happened from the Animalian arriving on.

..... (briefly considers disabling herself to stop rage, but expects the other fighter will have a response to save himself) .... no killing, remember, you two. *twitches tail in slight annoyance*

As Shadow fought, he heard a familiar voice directed to him. "A simple spar, nothing more. No one's life is at stake." Shadow calmly said as his focus was still directed to his opponent.

"It didn't look like that when I saw you slicing into that dragon."

"... He's not dead nor fatally injured. Stop complaining." Shadow sighed.

"I'll stop complaining when you stop fighting people left and right." Nikolai didn't know that Ragecano agreed to the fight beforehand

"... Well?" Shadow simply ignored Nikolai and spoke to the dragon animalian.

"I guess you can take care of taking this guy to the hospital; I'm going to go sharpen my sword."

"How annoying..." Shadow muttered to himself.

"Don't be mad at me because you cut someone down and I called you out on it. Aside from that, I noticed a snake girl talking with you guys. What was that about? I mean, I doubt that she meant harm since I didn't see anything happen, but she looked kind of shady and I can't help but feel something is up."

"... Nothing, really. She just took an interest in something before leaving." Shadow turned to the dragon animalian. "And why are you bleeding from a shallow cut? I thought dragons had 'scales sturdier than any armor'."

Ragecano rolled his eyeballs, as if though he were looking around. Then, with one sudden motion, he used his arms to propel the rest of his body up, all the while picking his sword from under the ground from which it sank. Nikolai took note of this and jumped back a foot to avoid any attacks that the Dragon might declare. The dragon took the sword into his right hand, and swung it in a sideways motion, as to literally cripple the Soul Reaper by cutting into his knees.

Knowing that the dragon would strike after making a sudden motion, Shadow leaped over the attack and his enemy and kept his distance, gripping his swords tightly. Don't interfere..." Shadow calmly told Nikolai as his attention was still focused on his opponent. "Quite a predictable attack, but that's only the beginning of your assault isn't it?"
